[SOLVED] Unable to add date to new event was created by Gyurltrini
To Whom It May Concern,
I have updated to the latest version of icagenda and suddenly (not sure if it's a conflict with another extension or not), when I'm trying to add an event, the pop up calendar in the date field is not popping up and if I try to type in the date, it isn't being accepted, therefore I can't save the event.

I got around it by logging directly into the database, locating the required table, and adding the new event manually that way, but, that is not the ideal way to do it.

Can someone advise me on this?

System settings are joomla 3.4.8
php 5.6.10
icagenda 3.6.5

Unfortunately this website is on an intranet, and therefore I will not be able to provide any access to it for troubleshooting purposes.

Hello,

Yes, it appears you have an issue with another third party extension (maybe a plugin...)

So, first, i would recommend to update all your extensions, and to update Joomla! too ;-)
Then, try to clean cache (site and admin), expired files and your browser cache.

If still the issue, try to check which plugin could be responsible of the issue (you can begins with not-joomla-core plugin such as sytem plugins, and editor plugins).

Ok the weirdest thing ... suddenly it started working as normal ... without me doing anything to fix it ... but a couple of days ago, no matter what I tried, it wasn't working (all extensions had already been updated and I had cleared the cache before writing the original post).

About cache, do you mean Joomla site/admin cache OR browser cache ?
As the 2 were needed with latest Joomla update ;-)
