I have a ICagenda list with events on the website with filter by date set to Current and All Upcoming Events. I have also enabled search filters.
When a filter is applied, all events, including past events are displayed.
Is it possible to automatically hide all past events in the search results?

Hello,

In the options for "Seach filters" you will find one to seach in current list (with menu options as set per date, category) or in all the events.

Just set this option to current list to search only in the rendered list by the menu.

Hope this helps?

Best regards,
Cyril

Hello,

This option also disables the selection of categories that are not in the "filter by category".
I have a few categorys that are "hidden" by default in the main list of activities since they are only relevant to a small number of members and contain a lot of activities. It would be preferable to have them available in the search filters.

If this is not possible I might be able to make a module with links to the specific category views and display it on top of the calendar.
Is it also possible to multiselect categories from the search filter or links.
At the moment I can only select 1 category from the dropdown menu (and get a link as LINKTOCALENDAR?filter_category=4)

Not possible yet, but it's a good idea for a future feature! Thank you!

No multiple categories select for now. With the system quite a bit different between J3 and J4/J5, for some improvements, i was waiting to be on the 4.x serie (compatible J4/J5 only) to work on such new possibilities like multiple categories for events as well as in search filters.
I can't tell you when i will work on this part, but i hope for version 4.1, where i will improve the categories system : www.icagenda.com/docs/roadmap

Best regards,
Cyril

Thank you for your response.
For now I have made a workaround with direct links to the hidden categories in a module. This works nicely.

Would love to see the improvements in a new version. Keep up the good work!

Great to know you've found a workaround!

And yes, many things in the roadmap! www.icagenda.com/docs/roadmap

For now, i'm still working to finish the new JoomliC website, which one is still on J3.

Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Cyril
